Device Discovery

Device Discovery scans your network and registers devices so you can bind them to workflow nodes without manual IP hunting.

Supported protocols

• Matter, Zigbee, Z-Wave
• MQTT brokers and topic discovery
• BLE / Bluetooth LE peripherals
• CAN Bus adapters
• mDNS / Bonjour services
• Modbus TCP devices (common PLC addresses)

Typical workflow

1. Open Studio → Discovery and select a protocol.
2. Run scan; review discovered devices and metadata.
3. Register devices to your workspace — they appear in the device picker on action nodes.
4. Use discovered host/topic/register settings in HTTP Request, MQTT Publish, or Modbus TCP Request.
